A cause that touches me deeply is the plight of the homeless – and the pets that give them reason to keep going when life seems so bleak. They love their pets at least as much as we do, and probably appreciate them more. They may be poor in worldly goods, but they’re rich in love and companionship. Pets of the homeless have a home and a family.
It would be such a wonderful world if more of those who have plenty – those with a roof over their heads and cash in the bank – would give something to help those without. One way to do that is to donate to Pets of the Homeless. Take a look at the website – what this organization does is impressive.
I can’t think of a greater organization than this one. Enabling homeless folks to care for their pets the way they so wish they could, while ensuring these pets have what they need to be healthy. A most honorable mission! My only hope is that one day no one will have to endure life on the street, be they two-legged or four-legged friend.

You are so right. A worthy ideal to help the plight of the homeless and their beloved animals. Indeed, no human or our dog friends should be in situation that finds them homeless. A caring, compassionate society takes care of its most vulnerable.

We see homeless people with their dogs occasionally, it really is a sad plight for everyone. ,
