The Warrior Canine Connection is an organization that combines service dogs and veterans in a creative way that utilizes the importance of each with the other. Veterans with PTSD benefit from the dogs, as they are instructed in how to train pups that will go on to service veterans with mobility challenges. It truly is a circle of love.

For the next 8-10 weeks, you can tune in to the live cam to witness the healing powers of man’s best friend with veterans suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Through the connection with these loyal animals and their time shared, the veterans are aided as they train the dogs. Pawsome. Simply pawsome.
Have a look – at the moment they’re still teeny babies! Service Puppy Live Cam – Holly’s Half Dozen – Dog Bless You – explore http://explore.org/live-cams/player/service-puppy-cam?popoff=true
To our service men and women, and to all the service dogs who work beside them – THANK YOU.
It’s the Saturday Pet Bloggers Hop, hosted by Life With Dogs, Two Little Cavaliers and Confessions of the Plume –

Such wonderful hero woofies and we love them all!
The puppy cam is down, but I will check back later. What a great program and what a benefit for both the pups and the veterans.
You can go to Holly’s Half Dozen and see the puppy cam.
Dawn I found that if you go to the link, then click on the “pop out player” (to right of video, or this link http://explore.org/live-cams/player/service-puppy-cam?popoff=true) it shows up then…
What a wonderful organization. Thanks for sharing.
Oh and btw, I have a dog with almost the same name! Mine is a rat terrier named Cindy Lou Who.
Here from Pet Blogger Hop.
Have a great day!
Personally, I’d rather see us stop putting service men and women in harm’s way. But this sounds like a wonderful way to make the best of a terrible situation.
And how cute are those puppies?
Soldiers AND puppies?! I’ll so be there!!

Ack! Puppies!!!! I can smell the puppy breath from here! What a great program.
