Well, it’s that time again – our quarterly opportunity to share with others that which we hold most dear to our hearts. Whether it’s a particular animal welfare cause, petition, organization doing right by animals, or a hero we greatly admire, this is the time to join others in our love of, and concern for, animals.
The rules are simple: write about a cause, group, or person you think others should know about, link up on the 15th, then read and share what others have written while they share yours, too. There are no restrictions as to what type of subject you choose, as long as it has to do with the well-being and welfare of our fellow creatures.
Your post will be shared to all the social media avenues of Be the Change for Animals, as well as all our blogs’. What would you love for people to know more about?

TO BLOG THE CHANGE
1.) Grab the badge. Paste the code from the sidebar to your blog’s sidebar. This lets folks know you’re taking part and how they can too.
2.) Tell others too! Post this to Facebook and Twitter:

3.) Post your blog entry on the 15th. Or 16th. (We’re taking advantage of the weekend!) Support your favorite cause, shelter, foster or friend. No matter what cause you choose:
- Make a fresh commitment to act on behalf of animals
- Inspire others to do the same
- Spread the word
4.) Add your link to the list! At 12:01 AM ET, the link list below will open. Add your blog’s name and post URL – not your main domain – so others can find and support your cause. The link will remain open for 24 hours.
5.) Share the good will. Read listings throughout the day and offer help or encouragement where you can. Remember, a kind word can make a difference! Share your favorite posts on your favorite social network (Twitter hashtag #BtC4A).
Extra credit: Click “Get the Code” at the end of the list and paste it at the bottom of your blog post. While not required, this places the list on your site too, generating traffic to and from your page for the sake of the animals your post supports.

I’m so sorry I couldn’t join BTC4A this weekend. I have a post talking about a film fest that benefitted the Oregon Humane Society but I just couldn’t get it up in time!
