Zukes #FuelTheLove Fuels the Cure and Giveaway

I just can’t imagine the agony of having to choose between expensive veterinarian treatment that is out of your reach, or bidding forever farewell to your beloved pet – simply because of a devastating, but often treatable, disease like cancer. It happens all too often, and it’s heartbreaking. Zuke’s founded the nonprofit organization, Dog and Cat Cancer Fund (DCCFund) with a mission toward understanding, treating and preventing canine and feline cancer. A portion of every Zuke’s product sale goes toward this fund, which helps make cancer treatment affordable for those in need. It also supports research into promising life-saving treatments and promotes prevention through awareness of the causes of feline and canine cancer. Since 2007, DCCFund has helped more than 250 pets.

What is this new campaign, #Fuel the Love?
Zuke’s is encouraging everyone to snap photos and videos of their pet being active – then (after making sure they’re a follower/fan of Zuke’s) posting them to Instagram and/or Twitter with the hashtag #FuelTheLove and tagging @ZukesPets. For every photo/video tagged with Zuke’s and #FuelTheLove, the company will donate $5 to the DCCFund, up to $10,000. That’s some serious help for pets facing a serious illness! So get that camera clicking, and help dogs and cats get the cancer treatment they need.
