Christmas in July. That’s what it felt like here, receiving the boxes from Pawalla. I can only imagine if it were repeated monthly… Pawalla is a new service that delivers a variety of natural products to you for your pet each month. A box full of surprise goodies sure can make life fun!
Pawalla delivery for the dogs |
We had the opportunity to sample both the dog and cat versions of Pawalla’s offerings for the month. Inside each sturdy box was an array of wet food, treats, vitamins/supplements, toys and useful products suitable for the type of pet designated (as well as small vs large in size for dogs).
Pawalla delivery for the kittehs |
The selections are all of high-quality; the food is premium, as are the treats. Even the toys (these were Kong) are sturdy and safe, made by a company that is highly-trusted. According to Pawalla, the monthly product choices are handpicked by their own in-house pet nutritionist. (There are, however, no specified guidelines for how they would choose particular monthly products.)
CindyLu inspects |
Additionally, items such as bones are checked to ensure that they will be safe for the size of dog they’ll be sent to. Although we haven’t yet, we’re looking forward to testing out the teeth-cleaning gel that was included. Not needing toothbrush and toothpaste sure sounds like a great option to us!
We were impressed overall with the products. The cats were impressed with the boxes.
CindyLu immediately swiped the Kong toy, which came with Kong treats for it. Chester didn’t stand a chance. She also swiped the bone from him (an elk horn, no less!) Shame on you, CindyLu! (I make sure to return the bone to Chester each night, while CindyLu is snoring sleeping.)
Chester’s in shock – an elk horn?! |
Our friend Bella recently reviewed Pawalla as well, and she estimates the value of the dog products to be around $60. I’ll take her word on that, I hate doing math. The monthly fee for membership is $26, with no shipping charges, which seems to be quite a great deal for what you receive. You can sign up for a monthly or annual plan, and cancel at any time.
This would make an awesome gift for someone with a pet (or for the pet her/himself). I personally would love to get this as a gift! It would also make a wonderful contribution or donation for a raffle prize in fundraising efforts.
The dogs and cats here are all in agreement – the stuff in the Pawalla boxes is really pawsome. (And the boxes are, too, according to the cats.)
So…know how great this company is? When they inadvertently sent us duplicate review samples, they told us to keep and enjoy the extras, or donate to our favorite shelter. Well, we have a rescue we love and we believe strongly in sharing, so some homeless dogs and cats got extra spoiling this month with goodies from Pawalla!
You can order for yourself or as a gift for a pet lover right now – and if you use the secret code (CINDYLUSMUSE) you’ll save $5 off your first month. Go ahead, truck on over to Pawalla and place your order. We’re comfy in these boxes here, we can wait for you.
