Dear Kim, I’m slinking into Monday also! I so love that word, just as I delight in watching the three cats with whom I live slink toward the patio door to gnash their teeth at the thought of actually capturing one of the cheeky birds that are pecking away at the see on the patio floor! Peace.
I love Mondays. I know that must sound crazy, but Mondays give me another chance to catch up, to put what’s wrong right, or to simply start something new. I love Mondays because since I’ve tried to approach Sundays as a real day off, Mondays are the day when I’m raring to go.
We have 6 stray cats, 3 live in the shop because Fluffy MacDuffy and Garagee-Girl won’t let them in the house, and because the three in the house were here first. Pretty Boy doesn’t much care. He’s going blind and can’t hear.
So, every day while I’m working on my computer, Marbles goes off to hunt while Fritzie Girl and Shasta sneak into the house [doors open for the breeze] and steal out of the house cat dish. They’d probably get away with it but Fritzy can’t leave without rubbing up against my leg and saying hi.
At night, Fritzy sneaks up on my lap and looks ever so lovingly at me, as if to say, “I should probably stay in here with you, eh?”
I’d let her, but really, the shop is a nice place to nest for the night, warm, cozy, quiet, with no Garagee or Fluffy.
Which brings up another topic. Why would six different families drop their cat off at the lake and leave them? I don’t get it.
I love your positive attitude about Mondays! I think I’ll give it a whirl myself.
OMC you’ve got a house-full of feline purrfection! How awesome. Bet you never have a dull moment, or an empty lap, either!
Sigh. Sounds like those cats were “dumped”. People decided to not keep them anymore, for whatever reasons, and somehow figured the cats would fair better at the lake than in the neighborhood back home (or a shelter). How sad.
But I see you! And you’re so purrrty!
Aw shucks, thanks, Peggy!

You are too hard to miss. So give up being unseen, you are too beautiful to not see.
Bert
OMC you sure know how to make a girl feel special! ๐

LOL They’re so much fun to watch in action! Those birds don’t know just how lucky they are there’s glass in that patio door!
Peace to you, too, Dee.
Yes! Dig around for Friday while you’re in there!
I’ll work on that one for you, Brian…Friday sure is hard to find!

I see your whiskers peeking out, but I bet Monday won’t see them:)
You think? ๐
Sorry to break it to you, Mondays and Murphy’s law will always find you. No hiding from either of them.
Oh bummer. Well, it’s worth a try, no?
I totally need to try this one!
Do it! At the very least, it’s fun ๐
OMG – so pretty! I’ve decided this whole week is going to be bust, never mind Monday. ๐
Oh boy…you sound like me…does it help you’ve got company on that?
I say that to myself every Monday. However, Monday still manages to find me. *sigh*
