Adopted!
Tabico? Cabby? You can have fun, deciding what to call my coat – but you have to admit, it’s beautiful! I’m a patched tabby/calico, so I offer the best of both feline beauty coats in one. And my silky coat isn’t the only thing that offers more than the usual…I’m a cat that could be your best friend, your closest confidant, your Sunshine on a Rainy Day.
I used to have a home and a family. I guess I wasn’t as important to them as I’d thought…one day, they packed me up into the car and left me at the pet store. Just left me there. Christmas was coming; you and I both can guess why they did that to me. Well, thank my lucky stars, another human came along and took me home so I wouldn’t be homeless for the holidays. But it’s not my own home.
I’m looking for my own forever home.
Tell you about myself? Why, of course I will! I’m a girl, a little less than two years old – and yes, that translates into my having plenty of energy for keeping up with active playmates and human friends. My name is Dreamweaver.
Pretty cool, huh? I think so. I like to think I fit into my name quite nicely. I tend to be a little shy at public places. All those sounds, movements, people – and at adoption shows, there are even birds and dogs in the store. It gets overwhelming for me, I have to admit. I don’t give people a chance to see how great I am. But can a girl help it if things like that really frighten her?
If you were to meet me without all the noise and confusion of a typical adoption show, you’d find me to be a very sweet, gentle, loving girl. And you’d probably want to take me home. Everyone who meets me feels that way. A girl can’t help it if she’s popular! I am quite friendly, when I’m not overwhelmed, and just might even follow you around. Then you could be singing “Me and My Shadow” – and loving it!
