The premise is simple: Friday is a great day to kick back, take it a little easier…so Aloha Friday, hosted by An Island Life, is a blog hop with one simple rule. You post a short question, everyone can answer how they like, then check out as many other blogs as they wish.
Our question here today: If robins are spotted this week in your yard, is it a sign Spring is on the way?

Enjoy! And Happy Weekend!!
I don’t know. I’ve seen birds on my leafless trees too and it’s iced over in the mornings here.
Hi Y’all,
We’re gettin’ migratory birds here in the southeast. Our daylillies are already well out of the ground. Officially, the weather will break in the next week or so. Then I’ll have to help my Humans with the gardening and won’t get to spend as much time on my blog.
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
No…some robins aren’t smart enough to go someplace warm for winter…so you might see one even when snow is on the ground!
I really really really hope so!
The other day during an ice storm someone sent a photo of robins to the local news. Come to find out some of them stay here all winter. *sigh*
We have some robins here year ’round – probably because I keep the bird feeders stocked! 🙂
Valentine’s Day Plans?
I am so in need for spring, I would take ANYTHING as a sign… We don’t get many robins here, but when I see a ton of seagulls on the beach, I know summer is on its way.
I wish I could say that sighting a Robin here in MN means spring is on it’s way, but we actually have Robins that stay here all winter. I still think spring when I see them though!
We hope so! We haven’t spotted ANY birds or even squirrels around our yard lately… we were afraid they all froze in the blizzard! 🙁
Lexi and I have see many Robins this week in the front pasture. We are praying that Spring will be here in 4 weeks. So we say Yes to your questions.
Happy Valentines!
Lexi and Christina
I hope so!
