Pets for Patriots is an organization with an awesome idea – matching up homeless pets with military members. The joys, companionship and love that pets provide promote health and well-being for their people. Who better deserves all a pet can offer than those who have given so much of themselves for our country? Pets for Patriots states that “We’re determined to make the joys of adult pet ownership achievable and affordable for the men and women of the U.S. military.” Their movement is growing across the country, with major support from our great animal welfare organizations.
