Wow, we have one very scary weather forecast for our area…CBS Local Weather
And no kidding, a cyclone is what they’re calling it. And one to be taken very seriously. As the article from CBS refers to, a storm similar to this one is what sunk the Edmund Fitzgerald, in Lake Superior, in the 1970’s. That song’s been running in my head since I read the article!
The weatherman is predicting some really nasty winds, and possible damage with tree limbs and power lines. So, in case we’re hunkered down listening to the radio alerts and unable to use the internet…I thought this was pretty appropriate, sans the car ride.
Hope you have a safe, happy day! See you when we emerge from our bunker;)
We’re in Southeastern Michigan & we’re getting the same weather here. My mom person got my boy Jack from high school early so we wouldn’t have to be travelling during the worst of it.
I’ll probably be in my usual spot guarding the bathtub!
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
It’s scary outside! The tree truck keeps driving around, guess they’re looking for branches to cut or pick up. Oskar, you keep good watch on that bathtub, it needs it today!
Hey Oskar! Where in Southeastern Michigan are you??? I am in Southeastern Michigan too!! We are getting high winds as well!
Wow, both of you in southeastern Michigan? You got walloped with storms today, didn’t you? Over here, I was just blown a little off course, eventually made my way back home! 😉
we were supposed to get it bad but I think they exaggerated. We didn’t have it that bad at all. Just real strong winds right now…
