Pearl Bear |
What a perfect name for this dainty girl! So tiny, so delicate, and yet so big on love. Imagine, having a little companion, one who is quiet and demure, right at your side. A little girl to baby, to dote over, to fill your days with smiles.
Pearl Bear is a senior pup, 9 years old, and in great health other than a few missing teeth. That’s no concern, soft food works just fine, she says, and her age isn’t as much as it sounds being a small dog – they live longer than the big guys!
According to her foster mom, on the Petfinder.com page, Pearl and her sister were surrendered by their family. How sad! I would imagine Pearl is feeling a bit lost, missing her family and wondering why she’s not home. And now wondering why she doesn’t have her sister with her either – her sister was lucky, she has found a new home.
Pearl Bear is spayed, neutered, and with all shots updated. All she needs now is someone to love her.

Do you know whatever happened to Pearl Bear? I was there when she was turned in. It was very sad she did not get adopted with her sibling, she was terrified. Any info?

Ingrid, you’ll be happy to know that the folks who adopted her sister came back and adopted Pearl, too. They ended up together after all 🙂
(Thank you to Julie S. for this information!)
